Privacy Policy

Overview
This policy explains what personal data Mockri collects, why, who we share it with, and your rights. Mockri is operated by Ramees PP, an individual based in Kerala, India, who is the data fiduciary responsible for your data. Contact: hello@mockri.com.
Data we collect
- Account data — your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email and profile image from Google. If you register with a password, we store a securely hashed (bcrypt) version of it — never the plain password.
- Booking data — the session date and time, and the job description and resume you upload so the interviewer can tailor the session.
- Payment data — for paid sessions, payment is processed by Razorpay. We receive a payment confirmation and reference IDs. We do not collect or store your full card or bank account details.
- Technical data — a secure session cookie to keep you signed in, and standard server logs. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
- To create and secure your account and sign you in.
- To schedule your session, generate the meeting link, and share your job description and resume with the interviewer assigned to you.
- To send you booking confirmations, reminders and follow-up emails.
- To process payment for paid sessions and prevent abuse.
- To operate, maintain and improve the service.
Service providers we share data with
We share the minimum data necessary with the providers that run the service on our behalf. We do not sell your personal data.
- Google — sign-in (OAuth) and Google Meet for the session video call.
- Cal.com — scheduling and calendar/meeting-link generation.
- Resend — sending transactional emails (confirmations, reminders, follow-ups).
- Razorpay — payment processing for paid sessions.
- Neon — managed PostgreSQL database hosting (your account and booking records).
- Vercel — website and application hosting.
- The interviewer assigned to your session receives your name, the job description and your resume to prepare for and conduct the session.
Some providers may process data on servers outside India under their own safeguards. We may also disclose data where required by law.
Data retention
We keep account and booking records for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax and dispute-resolution obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data; we will do so unless we are required to retain certain records (for example, payment records for accounting).
Your rights
Subject to applicable Indian data-protection law, you may request to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email hello@mockri.com from your registered email address and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Security
We use reputable infrastructure providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data and will notify you of a material breach where required by law.
Children
The service is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
