Refund & Cancellation Policy

Summary
A Mockri session is a scheduled, time-blocked appointment with a human interviewer. Because the interviewer reserves that time for you, refunds are limited. This policy explains exactly when a session can be rescheduled and when a refund applies.
Free trial session
- Every user gets one free trial session. No payment is taken, so no refund applies.
- If you do not attend your free trial (a “no-show”) or cancel too late for the slot to be reused, your free trial is considered used and you will not receive another free session.
- You may reschedule a free trial in advance, subject to interviewer availability, using the reschedule link in your booking email.
Paid sessions (₹999)
- Reschedule: you may reschedule a paid session in advance, subject to interviewer availability, at no extra cost, using the reschedule link in your booking email. We recommend rescheduling at least 12 hours before the start time so the slot can be reallocated.
- No-show or late cancellation:if you do not attend your paid session, or cancel so close to the start time that the slot cannot reasonably be reused, the session fee of ₹999 is forfeited and is non-refundable. The interviewer had reserved that time for you.
When you are entitled to a free reschedule
If a session you booked could not take place for a reason on our side, we will offer you a free reschedule to the next available slot at no additional charge. This applies when:
- the interviewer cancels or does not attend the session; or
- a technical failure attributable to Mockri (not to your own device or internet connection) prevents the session from taking place.
In these cases the free reschedule is the standard remedy. If we are unable to arrange a reschedule within a reasonable period (normally 14 days) and you do not wish to wait, you may instead request a full monetary refund of the amount you paid for that session.
How refunds are processed
Where a refund is due under this policy, it is made to your original payment method via Razorpay. Approved refunds are initiated within 3 business days and typically reach your account within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or card provider. We do not charge a processing fee for refunds we initiate.
How to request a reschedule or refund
Use the reschedule link in your booking email for rescheduling. For a refund request, email hello@mockri.com from your registered email address with your booking details (name, date and time of the session) and the reason. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
